POST L - Junya Ishigami by "The Guardian" Magazine

Today I am going to talk about an article that show the works of one of my favourite architects called Junya Ishigami.

His proposition is defined by the quote: " I want to make the sky"

This poetic statement is the begining of a complex and beautiful trouble in Architecture, the capacity to arrive our dreams into a physicial shape , and translate our desires into reality, because he is constantly trying to mix the way in how the children see the world, and the adventure of make this claims real in an adult life, with all the issues and technic develope that this require.

In the news was mentioned his most known projects like, Garden Tochigi in Japan, The Kanawaga institute of technology, the Glass Pavillion for park Groot Vijverburg, in Netherland, or his most daring purpose like the Cave-like restaurant in Yamaguchi, when he prove a new way of constructions process. In all of this works he tried to put the discipline in their boundaries, because he isn´t worry about the shape or the programe, he used the natural phenomena or simples principles to develop all a project like a piece of art, with rules, with claims, and he is very focus in their objetives or the values of his job, because he want to create pure ideas associate with a way to dwell.

His carreer is very sucessful, He was born in 1974. He acquired his master's degree in architecture and planning at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 2000, and have the opportunity to work with Kazuyo Sejima from 2000 to 2004 at SANAA in when he was very influenced by figures like Toyo Ito and Ryeu Nishizawa also.

He is very interesting because he is trying to develope new ways to make Architecture, and he is not worry about the troubles that this involve, because he is searching to make the sky.
